Boerenlandfair: Fun day for the whole family!
In early summer, you can simply relax and enjoy yourself in the beautiful village of Westerland on the former island of Wieringen.
Nearly 100 stalls offer rural products, antiques, brocante, culture, a variety of food stands, a tea tent with homemade cakes,
a coloring contest for children, live music, and entertainment.
At the “Kikkertweide” in Westerland, the Boerenlandfair warmly welcomes visitors.
In every way, it reflects the charm of traditional British country fairs.
The friendly atmosphere, the wide variety of products, and the high quality are highly appreciated by both visitors and exhibitors.
Of course, your culinary enjoyment is also well taken care of.
In addition to the various food stalls, you can indulge in delicious homemade cakes with a nice cup of tea or coffee in our “Tea Tent”.
Admission: €3,- per person
Children up to and including 14 years old, and parking, are free.
Take your Dog?
Dogs are allowed.
However, dogs must be kept on a leash on the premises.
Please ensure that other visitors are not disturbed by your dog.
Any “accidents” must be cleaned up by you immediately.
You will find the Boerenlandfair at Noorderkerkweg 1 in Westerland, on the corner of Westerlanderweg/Noorderkerkweg, opposite the church.
Parking is available at the parking area on the corner of Oosterdamsterweg/Zuiderkerkerlaan.
Please follow the signs “P Dorpsfeest/Fair”.
From the parking area, you can walk via the picturesque Zuiderkerkerlaan (or “Kerkelaantje” as it is locally known) up to the fairgrounds.
Visitors with limited mobility can report to our traffic stewards, who will be happy to assist you further.
Parking is always at your own risk!
Please note: There is a parking prohibition (with towing enforcement) on Westerlanderweg, Noorderkerkweg, Zuiderkerkerlaan,
Oosterdamsterweg, and Damsterpad.
Please only park in the designated parking areas.
At the fair, some vendors accept card payments while others do not.
We therefore recommend bringing some cash with you to the Boerenlandfair.
There is an option to withdraw cash at our cashier’s trailer next to the main event tent.
You can withdraw up to €50 in cash here.
